For generations, the Shaff family has built its reputation through Northern Nevada Hardwood Floors, a trusted name in hardwood flooring, restoration, and custom fabrication throughout Reno, Sparks, Lake Tahoe, and the greater Northern Nevada region. For over 40 years, their work has centered on one thing: honoring the beauty, strength, and longevity of real hardwood.
But over time, something became impossible to ignore.
In the process of installing, refinishing, and fabricating hardwood floors, beautiful pieces of premium wood were left behind — offcuts, surplus planks, end pieces, and select materials that were structurally sound, visually stunning, and simply too good to waste.
Rather than discard them, the Shaff family saw opportunity.

Nevada Board Co. is the natural evolution of Northern Nevada Hardwood Floors, a way to upcycle unused hardwood materials into purposeful, lasting pieces for everyday life.
Using the same premium hardwoods found in high-end flooring projects, walnut, maple, cherry, and other select species, Nevada Board Co. transforms unused materials into cutting boards, charcuterie boards, butcher blocks, and fully custom-designed wood pieces.
Each board begins with wood that already carries a story — grain patterns shaped by time, character earned through growth, and quality proven through decades of professional woodworking standards.
